Critical Illness

A critical illness plan is a policy that pays the insured a lump sum following a diagnosis of an illness covered under the plan. Critical illness plans often cover diseases like cancer, organ transplant, renal failure, heart attack, paralysis among others. There are many different critical illness plans ranging from $5000- $200,000 or more. Premiums are based on the benefit amount and age of the applicant. Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
